The IVES precinct is a considered and complementary blend of spaces: both residential and commercial, a truly integrated modern multi-use site.

IVES will be a community that supports and nourishes itself and nearby residents. Next door, RISE will house a proposed supermarket occupying one half of the lower floors and servicing the suburb and surrounds; this will be mirrored in the IVES ground-floor spaces by two cosmopolitan food and beverage shopfronts (serving barista coffee) as well as several boutique retail offerings. This blend of straight retail, food and beverage, and commercial offices will naturally generate a community hub providing energy across the precinct throughout the day.

Location

A mere 7km northwest of the City, Bruce is a quiet achiever, delivering the convenience of inner-city living within a stone’s throw of some of the Bush Capital’s best nature reserves. Stanley Bruce was Australia’s 8th prime minister and first chancellor of the Australian National University (ANU). Within walking distance you will find Radford College, the University of Canberra, the Australian Institute of Sport and the Canberra Institute of Technology. Just minutes away are Calvary Hospital, ANU and the Canberra International Sports and Aquatic Centre.

Located on Thynne Street just off Haydon Drive, the IVES commercial precinct puts you in the heart of Bruce and invites you to seize the day. A short drive to Belconnen, Dickson, Braddon and the City makes meetings or running errands a breeze. Workers can stroll the communal green spaces at IVES and RISE during breaks or walk the short distance to Fern Hill Park for quiet reflection in nature.
